All New Resource From SEO Consult

We are today launching a new section of our website, in which the team at SEO Consult will share their own insights, tricks and tips from the Search Engine Optimisation industry. Topics will range from Copywriting for SEO, to Perfect Keyword Research or the impact of the upcoming HTML5 Specification on SEO. With all of our programmers and other team members participating, the new section promises to be very diverse as we have PHP Specialists, SEO Strategists, SEO Programmers, Flash Builders and Copywriters all sharing their personal thoughts on SEO.
I will start today with a brief overview of the different departments within SEO Consult (and indeed most agencies);
Business Development
Business Development is when any project starts it’s life. Highly trained and personable executives will work to quickly identify the needs of the client for their website to succeed within their marketplace, whilst also working within budget constraints. Business Development is where initial work will be done on areas such as Keyword Research and Competitor Analysis.
Account Management
A key area of the client relationship is dedicated account management. Account managers maintain the communication channels between the teams and the client, effectively managing the whole project from start to completion. Account management can identify/resolve issues that may arise so they do not hinder the success of the project.
Strategy
From Business Development the project will pass to both Account Management and Strategy simultaneously. Once the Strategy team recieves the project they will use many resources to research the perfect keywords for a project, these resources include but are not limited to;
- Google Keyword Research
- Existing client PPC data
- Competitor Research
- Industry knowledge
When the keywords have been selected and pages identified within the site to optimise, the strategy manager will implement an on and off-page plan for the project for the duration of the SEO campaign.
Copywriting
Once strategies have been agreed the project would move to the Copywriting team where our wordsmiths would create some fresh, dynamic and compelling optimised content for the project. This team also deals with Press Releases and Article creation as well as Blog writing and administration.
Implementation Team
Once all research has been completed, signed off and all of the copy written, a programmer gets to sink their teeth into the project. Working with each and every page on the strategy to make sure that it meets the exacting standards created through years of experience. Every page optimised is checked then rechecked by a second programmer, then sent to the client for review.
