How Much Should You Pay for SEO

With a little research into the Search Engine Optimisation market, it quickly becomes apparent that there is a wide range of companies, both small and large, who claim to be able to offer the know how and knowledge base in order to achieve page 1 listings for your site. In turn, the only aspect which matches the choice of providers is the associated costs you can pay to utilise their services.
Because of this the understandable question can be asked as to the true worth of SEO for your business and ultimately how much should you be paying for it? The answer dependant upon the sector you work in.
If you are working in a competitive market, dependant upon a high traffic yield for conversions then it can be seen such businesses will need to invest more capital into their SEO, in order to overcome the thousands of competitor sites who are now all taking steps to drive traffic to their sites.
Unfortunately, the days of developing a site and sitting back and watching it climb the rankings are well and truly over, as even through difficult recent times the Online Marketing sector has continued to grow from strength to strength.
With this in mind it is also worth pointing out the Search Engine Optimisation cannot be viewed as the answer to all your sales and marketing anxiety, as it remains clear that not all sectors are receptive to the net. If your potential clients do not search for your services online, then the benefits of SEO to your business have to be seriously questioned.
There are numerous tools available online which provide an insight into search volumes for the keywords you wish to target. Therefore it can be argued that like with most products and services out there, the best piece of advice that can be given is this:
Do your research and you will know the best deal when you see it, not when it’s sold to you!

  1. I think it is better to pay once the result is done and the revenue target is achieved by the seo company. You can give a percentage based on the revenue the company generate online.
