Keyword stuffing is a very easy mistake to make when optimising a web site. In the professional world, it can be very easy to 'stuff' a web site, particularly if the client is paying for a variety of keywords (they insist). The best thing to do is to initially pick as few as possible, and then spread them out across the site.

I don't consider Keyword Stuffing as 'Black-Hat SEO' however if keyword stuffing is identified by the search engines, it can have a similar adverse effect like Black-Hat.

The key to good SEO is CONTENT. Write your copy for humans, not search engines. That's what the search engines want!
