Search Engines Are Not The Only Place Where Your Business Should Be Found

Search engines are of great importance to internet users and also to businesses too. Searchers can find relevant and useful businesses and businesses can attract and direct relevant traffic to their web pages. Search engines play a valuable role in search but they are not the only places where users look for businesses and where your business should be featured.
Directories are still commonly used by a lot of internet users. Directories are a traditional source of business information and a large number of searchers still turn to directories for their searching needs.
It can be highly beneficial to have your business listed in the most popular directories. The biggest directories will have huge audiences and therefore will provide you with the greatest chance of exposure and traffic. Links from websites of this quality to your own will also be beneficial in the view of the search engines. There are also an increasing number of smaller directories relevant to specific business industries and listing your business in a directory like this can be advantageous too.
Social networking websites are also becoming more and more important to the majority of internet users. A large number now visit social networking sites on a regular basis. They share information of all sorts and develop bonds and relationships with others within the social networking communities.
A lot of brand development is also taking place within the social networking websites with businesses creating and updating their profiles. With this development, more of those using social networking websites are seeking business information from others within the community.
It is now common for feedback on businesses and their services to be shared in social networking posts and a lot of searchers will explore the content within the social networking websites when looking for a business of some sort.
The result is you too must have a profile within the major social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter. You must update your profile with relevant content regularly and must encourage feedback from others too. You must also keep a close eye on what others within the community are saying about your business so you can deal with any issues which may arise.
Search isn’t just about search engines because as the internet expands and develops, searchers are exploring more different kinds of information before making a decision. You must make your business as noticeable as possible. To do this, your SEO campaign must help you to achieve top rankings but must also help you to get attention and interest in your company other ways too.
We at SEO Consult know search engines are often a priority for our clients and use effective methods to help them to achieve the top spots. However, we also encourage the use of other productive SEO techniques which can help to develop their brands and direct traffic to their websites. If you want your business to be successful, you have to consider more than just the search engines.
Here’s an interesting blog on keyword stuffing (fosahrnvawejgag) and how this technique isn’t compatible with SEO.

i is there a way to get indexed on google any quicker sorry if this is a bit off topic thankyou.
Do you mean initially when a new site is added to Google? If so then yes, quite simply: get links to your site. Commenting on this blog will have helped (not that you should spam blog comments though!).
Even getting nofollow links to your site will help as Google crawls nofollow links but doesn’t pass authority over to the target site.
Hope that answers your question.
