Think Big With SEO, Think Market Place Dominance

For any business to be so unique that it automatically dominates the market place, it is simply not possible. The only way this could happen is if you have the only business that supplies a specific product or service that there literally is no other company to obtain it from. In reality that would probably be the shortest list in history.

Having a business means that you are going to have some incredibly stiff competition that are just as hungry as you for those customers out there. Online marketing is the most intensely competitive market place in the world today. Plus all those competitors are using Search Engine Optimisation as well to push them to the maximum visibility in the search engine rankings.

What to do to stand a chance of dominating the market?

The ‘magic ingredient’ that will allow you to think big and aim for a dominant place is to make your message that you put out there different. See that your business does not appear to be cut from the same cloth as the competition and then make sure that you show and tell your target audience about those differences.

Keep in mind that your market may be dictated by geographic location such as if you live in a cold climate there will be a huge market for indoor heating. If this is your type of business, your competition will be incredibly stiff. All is not lost though; you do not have to give up your dreams of market domination.

SEO has a huge bag of tricks

Offering the lowest prices is not the answer; others will simply drop their prices lower. What is needed is that your message to your target audience must think of your company and what you have to offer as a commodity. This is where your SEO Consultant becomes your ally and works with you to use optimisation techniques that brings the difference in how you bring your message across directly to your target audience. Never use generalisations in your keywords and content, everyone else is already saying exactly that. It is a waste of time using keywords that claim you are the best, the fastest or the friendliest, these phrases are meaningless. You need to grab your visitor’s attention with a true claim, but one that whacks them between the eyes and make them take notice. Give them a reason they cannot refuse to make use of your services over that of all the companies that you compete with. If your target audience is form a specific location or has bonds with a specific organisation, you have the perfect SEO Technique available. Use knowledge of your target audience’s location, sports, clubs or whatever else will appeal and use that difference to boost your business for market domination.

If you use a reputable SEO consultant who can think outside the box the battle is halfway won. When you and the consultant work together, he will create an optimisation campaign that puts you on the path to market dominance.
