Keyword choice can really help to make or break a Search Engine Optimization campaign.  Choosing the right keywords can be difficult because in order to gain the maximum possible SEO benefit, you need to find the balance between popularity, relevance and competition.  Choosing a popular industry term may seem like a natural choice as a keyword, but if there are thousands of other websites which have been around longer than yours all competing for that same keyword, the job of moving up the search engine results pages is that much more difficult.

You can have the best keyword density in the world, but it doesn’t matter if your content is poor or irrelevant and website visitors don’t hang around very long.
