Meta Tags
The ClickBaseCMS is designed specifically with SEO in mind. Unlike many other CMS’ on the market, the ClickBaseCMS gives you fully configurable meta tags. The ‘keyword’, ‘description’ and ‘title’ tags can be individually set for every page, category and product. These META tags are vital in providing information about your site to the search engines.

Meta Patterns
For sites with large numbers of pages, products or categories, time spent setting individual tags can be prohibitive. Generic configurable patterns can be set up for pages, categories and products which will automatically create appropriate tags. This can either be set to override individually set tags or simply to generate where tags have not been previously specified.

URL Structure

You don’t have to go far on the internet to see sites with unfriendly URLs. Not only do these effect SEO, but are they unfriendly for users and can increase drop off rates by cutting off the product name to view categories etc, being as many people use URL structure for navigation,. The ClickBaseCMS provides an optimal link structure to help prevent this.
When a page, category or product is added, a URL friendly version of the title is automatically created. This ‘slug’ can also be edited by the user, allowing for maximum customisation.
Unbreakable Links
Once a page, category or product has been added, you have 48 hours to change the ‘slug’ before it is locked down so it cannot be changed at a later date. If any of these ‘slugs’ are to be removed from the site at later date they will then be ‘inactivated’, and you will then have the option to enter a ‘301 redirect link’. If someone then tries to go to the deactivated area they will be forwarded to the link entered, so this keeps old links ‘alive’ and prevents them from showing as error pages. The 301 redirect link also passes on any authority gained by the deactivated page. If no link is entered, the area will automatically forward to the home page.

WYSIWYG Editor
The ClickBaseCMS includes a fully featured WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) window pane for easy editing of content, helping to save time and giving you more control over what you want to do.
Blog/News Section

To keep your customers up to date, the ClickBaseCMS includes seamless integration with the Wordpress Blogging/News system. The latest blogs/news articles that you post are shown in snippets on the home page and the latest relevant category blogs are also shown on their respective category pages. This keeps customers up to date on what’s going on in your industry and also provides fresh content, regularly added to your site which shows the search engines that you are a valuable resource to rank.
Sitemaps + RSS Feeds
A Google Sitemap and HTML Sitemap are created dynamically with pages, categories, products and blog posts/news articles being added and removed as the changes are made in the CMS/Blog admin area.
The RSS Feed is generated from the Blog/News Section. This will provide the latest news to anyone who subscribes to your feed.
The Sitemaps and RSS Feed are linked in the footer of the site, making them visible whatever page is being browsed. The RSS Feed is also linked by a ‘meta link’ so people can click on the symbol in their browser to subscribe/view the feed.
Search
The ClickBaseCMS contains an advanced search feature, with a quick search integrated into the layout. This allows customers to search from wherever they are on the site and find what they want quickly. More detailed filtering tools are also available for the specific needs of your website.
Quick FAQ Creator
The Quick FAQ Creator allows you to add each Frequently Asked Question item to the CMS individually rather than having to format an FAQ page manually. These items are then shown as a list of questions on the front end which can be clicked upon to view the answer. This can also be integrated in a number of different ways depending on your requirements e.g. an FAQ section could be added to one of the sidebars, you could then click on a question to reveal the answer in a sleek JavaScript ‘lightbox’.

Custom Form Creator
When you realise you need another contact form, the necessary functionality will be at the tips of your fingers. With the ClickBaseCMS Custom Form Creator you can select exactly what fields you require, insert an email address and voila! Your form is created. Whether to be placed on an existing page or as a new page in its own right, forms can be created or removed in seconds.
